What are the main news sources for Japanese developers?
So far I only know about itmedia.co.jp, but are there more?
Furthermore, are there any bigger events like the Devcon or CCC in Japan?
I know there are meetups, but I’m specifially talking about conventions.

Hatena Bookmark is a popular aggregation site that has many developers as active users. Rebuild.fm is a popular developer podcast.
There’s lots of larger scale developer conferences. This article lists some of the most major ones.
