So I’m moving to Tokyo in a couple of years (married). In general is there a market for freelancing Computer/Network engineering (specifically in Tokyo)? Aiming to work for a company like Macnica but I would eventually like to get out and do more freelancing.
Tokyo’s such a large city that there is basically a market for freelancing anything. The challenge will initially be finding clients. Being a normal employee in the beginning sounds like a good plan, as it will give you an opportunity to build up connections.
