Is it worth taking Kanken?

I’ve recently passed the JLPT N1 and I’m looking for the next part time goal to improve my skillset.

I suspect I know the answer but thought it worth asking… is there much value for software professionals to have passed any of the Kanken Kanji tests if they already have the JLPT behind them?

Are there better things to work on?

The most a qualification is going to help with is getting an initial interview at a company that is looking to hire Japanese speaking foreigners. My suspicion is that JLPT N1 is going to be enough for any such opportunity.
