I am a CS student from the UK and I have taken a break from study to live with my wife in Osaka, Japan for one year (moved here three days ago). During this time I would like to keep any work related to my course content, working in software development.
As I’m yet to obtain my degree, I imagine that my options are limited to internships. Other posters have mentioned that working in a language centre is good initial step in getting one’s foot in the door, would that be advisable?
I am also very interested in attending developer events in the general area.
